Aww I remember this comet

It was beautiful...
I met the guy who discovered it yesterday

He was telling us it's soooo much bigger then any other comets that have passed over

It's really interesting that you met the guy who discovered it. Was that Alan Hale or Thomas Bopp. It was very bright and was viable for a long time and, as you say, a beautiful sight.

he was visiting the Birds of Prey Centre where I volunteer. He had lots of pictures from Huble and others with him for a talk so we showed us them all, amazing images!

I would love to visit a Bird of Pray Centre and get some photos. I think there's one fairly near to where I live. Somewhere near a town called Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales (I'm from near Richmond).

It must have been great to meet him.

Thanks. I took quite a few different exposures times because I wanted to get a decent image without the sky rotating too much and smearing the image of the comet. This one was the best one. Glad you like it.
